The Ehsaas Langar Khana Program specifically focuses on addressing the issue of food insecurity and aims to provide free meals to those in need. The program was launched under the name of koi bhooka na soye.

The program was launched in 2018 under the government of MR Imran Khan. The first k langar khana was opened near the Faizabad bus station at the junction of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on October 7, 2019. Imran Khan also sat down with the local public and eat the food. Around 800 to 1000 people ate the food on the first day.

The quality of the food is good and the purpose of this center is to provide free food to all the poor and people who come from different cities for work. Then later the aim of Imran Khan was to open the centers in every big city.

Ehsaas Langar Program 2023 Online Registration Criteria

Usualy all the other programs have a registration process. You need to register to avail the benefits. This Ehsaas langar khana is a very unique program in which you don’t have to register yourself.

The main purpose of this program is to feed free food to poor people. So thee people near the langar khana can visit the center and can eat 2 times free meal.

The government opened the langar khana near the general bus stand and big hospital so the poor and needy people can eat food. Usualy these are the two points where most people come from other cities and need food.

Everyone can eat the free two times meal without any discrimination. The staff there is also very cooperative and well-mannered.

Ehsaas langar program eligibility

There are no pre-defined or written eligibility criteria. This kind of program is just for the poor people and according to the local administration. The purpose is to feed the poor people in general so anybody who is hungry and can’t afford food can go and eat the free food.

He could be a laborer, traveler, or work in a different city for his family so can save some money.

Ehsaas langer program timings

At lunchtime, food is served from 12-2 pm. Food is served 6 Pm-8 pm for dinner, but you can eat your meal at any time as the services of free meals are for 24 hours.

NOTE: There you do not have to provide any registration or proof. Anybody can go without any hesitation and eat free food at any time.
